About our Inspection Reports

Don't be mislead by the "on site" Report:

Many inspection companies promote the benefits of a report that is given the customer right after the inspection is completed.

The truth of the matter is most always the real benefits are in favor of the inspector, and perhaps the Sellers, and are to the disadvantage of the Client.

These "on site" reports are generally hastily completed during the actual course of the inspection, or are completed afterward, rush-style, as everyone at the inspection is standing around impatiently waiting.

When the reports should be completed:

My time as your inspector on the property should be devoted to the actual inspection of the house. After the inspection I complete the report back at the office. Digital pictures that were taken are entered into the report, narratives are written and the report is uploaded.  You will receive your report within 24 hours of the inspection (most cases the same evening as the inspection). You are also invited to attend the actual inspection if you wish to do so.

My reports are completed on a computer with digital pictures showing ANY problem area's.

After an inspection of up to several hours, I take the time to relax, analyze, and do further research if needed, on any deficiencies and concerns that were observed. Only after I have taken this time can a proper report be completed. I can also send you the reports via e-mail if you are out of the area and cannot attend the inspection.
